Position Summary

This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Strategic Accounts and will initially be responsible for the assessment of the business relationship of defined developing key clients. The position will transition from assessing the upsell potential to fully engaging in the entire sales cycle from prospect to the ultimate close of new products and services maximizing new net sales revenue (i.e. meeting/exceeding predefined sales quota) in addition to focusing on account retention efforts.


+ Initially responsible to identify, engage and assess the upsell potential of defined existing developing key clients

+ Develop comprehensive situational expertise around the fraud prevention industry and authentication/multi-factor authentication and iovation’s new product offerings for the purpose of understanding client needs today and in the future and communicating information in a professional and effective manner

+ Expand sales knowledge focusing on handling client opportunities from suspect to prospect to closed opportunity via an established sales approach

+ Develop an understanding of effectively negotiating and/or renegotiating current and future contracts, as required

+ At a time determined by the Sr. Director of Strategic Accounts and subject to scope of existing client base, create and maintain open sales cycles and close new net business opportunities focused on meeting/exceeding predefined sales quota

+ Interface with company resources with the Product Management, Marketing and Customer Success teams to keep abreast of the market requirements they represent


+ Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing

+ Demonstrated experience in a professional selling environment with proven quota attainment

+ Demonstrated understanding of sales principles, strategies and tactics

+ Demonstrated success in a team selling environment

+ Strong technology/software sales background

+ Excellent presentation skills

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Effective negotiation skills

+ Ability to function in a matrixed or team selling environment

+ Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, Gmail,
+ Domestic travel based on business and customer needs

Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Requirements

+ Fraud management or security sales experience in a SaaS environment

Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting, hearing and talking; intermittent standing and walking; intermittent bending and twisting of the upper body (in the event of traveling/working from remote locations). Close detail work requiring visual acuity.
