Accounting Manager

To complement our World-Class teams, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing team in Vancouver, WA. The Accounting Manager will report to the VP of Finance.

Lead the accounting team by fostering a culture and expectation of excellence, accuracy, and efficiency

Leverage software solutions to produce accurate financial statements on time

Manage the period-end process, including: Evaluate and implement opportunities for reducing close time and Maintain high standard of financial accuracy

Maintain the Company’s accounting records, policies and processes in accordance with legal, regulatory and general accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis

Coordinate preparation of federal, state, and local company tax returns with CPA firm

Ensure accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and accounts receivable are collected promptly

Continually create better systems to accomplish goals of the department and of the company

Work closely with the VP of Finance in creating and managing the budgeting model

Provide projections for financial condition and performance under various scenarios in order to assist management in decision making

Assist in developing and monitoring key performance indicators

Must have ability to work independently, initiate actions, plan and supervise effectively to obtain desired results

Excellent math aptitude, problem solving, financial analysis, attention to detail, and open communications are required

Advanced knowledge of GAAP principles (including experience with R&D expense capitalization and revenue recognition rules)

Ability to learn software applications quickly

Comfortable working in a paperless environment

Willingness to get hands dirty and perform transactional work

Expert knowledge of financial statement preparation and cash management

Minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in a financial management position

Experience using and implementing an inventory standard costing system

Ability to meet deadlines

Maintain a team-oriented environment of direct reports

Adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment

Demonstrate excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Display excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all corporate personnel

Demonstrated judgement and decision making ability

CPA license

Experience using NetSuite ERP

Experience using Adaptive Planning
