The FP&A Analyst will be a key member of the Finance team responsible for providing insight into operational and financial business performance for company leadership, clients, and ownership through analysis of results verses budget, forecast and historical performance. Responsibilities: Performs weekly and monthly operational reporting; supports monthly analysis of performance results to management, operations, and ownership entities Analyzes and compares financial results and key performance indicators against internal and external benchmarks Facilitates and maintains integrity of the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes Presents analyses that identify, evaluate, and communicate business results, trends, and outlooks Gains an understanding of the organization's key performance trends and highlights noteworthy areas to Leadership, including: financial, operational, sales, personnel, and healthcare data Analyzes variances between budgeted, forecasted, and actual results Partners with Business Intelligence Analyst to maintain and enforce data definitions and support reporting automation and data warehousing Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, finance or equivalent quantitative areas Advanced level of proficiency using Excel required, including VBA Knowledge of GAAP and other rules and regulations regarding financial data Based in Portland, Oregon, Blue Harbor Senior Living is a growing senior living company, currently operating communities throughout the United States.
