PeaceHealth is seeking a
Assistant General Counsel A (12021) for a
1.0 full time equivalent
Exempt position. This position will be working
Day shift with shift durations of
Responsible for providing legal services in support of PeaceHealth including its operating units, subsidiaries and related organizations.
:Drafts and analyzes contracts affecting the healthcare operations of the organization, including clinical affiliation, clinical research, supply chain, payor and other agreements.
:Provides legal advice in the areas of clinical affiliation and clinical research and institutional review board (IRB).
:Prepares, reviews, and edits legal documents and filings.
:Conducts legal research and analysis.
:Performs other duties as assigned.
:Juris:Doctorate from an accredited law school
:Superior academic performance
:Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing attorney in health law.
:Admission to state bar association required.
:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
:Strong organizational and analytical skills.
:Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and display flexibility in a fast paced and changing work environment.
:Technical proficiency in Word and database management.
