Position Summary
Performs a variety of data entry/data management tasks, using Excel, to support manufacturing management with statistical data to drive our continuous improvement process. Purchases consumable supplies and confirms receipt of goods. Monitors vendor performance as well as vendor setup within our systems. Filing and organizing of records in support of contracts/compliance/registrations. Other support functions as necessary. Reports to the Director of Manufacturing, but supports multiple members of management on an as:needed basis.
Specific Responsibilities
* Uses advanced Excel functions to record, process, and publish/distribute Continuous Improvement data for the manufacturing business.
* Research and analyze data. Identifies data irregularities and elevates issues as appropriate.
* Purchase consumable supplies and office supplies to support factory needs. May assist with purchase of various other equipment and tools as needed, using authorized vendors.
* Filing and organizing of hardcopy and electronic records such as contracts, regulatory compliance, business registrations in support of manufacturing/operations/facilities/Maintenance/Safety.
* Match and review packing lists to invoices.
* Will act as backup on some customer support issues
* Will organize and coordinate various meetings, trainings, and events.
* General administrative support to a leadership team of approximately 5 persons.
