Position Summary::/h2:
Provide project coordination in the areas of special events, including restyle and off:site division events. Develop and maintain timelines, communications and effectively launch projects. Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Demonstrate the companys core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Essential Job Functions::/h2:
:Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver legendary customer service
:Support and collaborate with group vice president of Merchandising, the manager of special events and diamond and design consultants
:Generate special events reporting on a weekly and monthly basis
:Manage the annual schedule for restyle and off:site events
:Partner with appraisers and goldsmiths to improve consistency and adherence to guidelines as they relate to special events
:Develop associate incentives and customer promotions and contests
:Reconcile special event meeting invoices, security and vendor chargebacks
:Oversee planning and execution of monthly team meetings and annual special event summits
:Manage and track supplies for events
:Execute email marketing for special events utilizing the Salesforce/Exact Target program
:Coordinate off:site event logistics, including project timelines, marketing, merchandising and set:up and teardown, as well as pre: and post:event evaluation of how the planned events performed and changes to be made in the future
:Write marketing promotional strategies and proofread marketing/print related materials for all events
:Compose memos/reports for projects that are being managed
:Coordinate and facilitate meetings with groups in conjunction with projects/priorities
:Attend meetings
:Review/reconcile diamond and design consultants expense reports on a period basis
:Manage a fleet of company owned vans used by diamond and design consultants
:Travel to company and off:site event locations for meetings and special events
:Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications/Education::/h2:
:High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years jewelry experience or combination of relevant education and experience
:Strong analytical and problem:solving skills
:Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and a strong attention to detail and effectively organize/prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
:Familiarity with jewelry terms and processes
:Proficient Microsoft Office skills
:Strong written communication skills
:Knowledge of the internet, e:Commerce and current related technologies
:Ability to work independently or in groups/teamsDesired Previous Job Experience/Education::/h2:
:Bachelors degree in marketing, business or a related field (or equivalent training and experience)
:1 years of experience in marketing
