Every vegan can tell you stories about negative attitudes coming from meat-eaters. For Northwest VEG’s 22 Day Veg Challenge Kickoff, Linda Tyler, vegan writer and cooking workshop leader, will dig into this phenomenon, sharing research studies that shed light on why this happens and what you can do when it happens. Linda will also offer research-backed approaches for cooking vegan dishes for meat-eaters. A few basic principles can mean the difference between acceptance and rejection from your target meat- eater. The second half of the session will be a cooking demo. Linda will share two core recipes (Creamy Tomato Sauce and Montreal Roasted Vegetables) and show ways they can be combined with supporting foods to make at least a dozen fabulous vegan meals.
