Ideal candidate is someone who has experience with Online and Demand Generation for a B2B SaaS company, can make sound marketing decisions based on data and strategy, and lives in the Portland, OR area. Role is based out of the Portland, OR downtown office and company might pay for relocation. General Summary: As the head of company’s marketing efforts, you will be responsible for developing and executing all marketing initiatives, programs and tactics. We are looking for someone who understands B2B SaaS Software marketing and demand generation who can effectively bring in more leads and help the company grow by leveraging data/metrics and marketing best practices. You will work closely with the sales and product management teams to define and improve our message and value proposition while continuously looking for new and better ways to communicate that message to prospects and customers. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll join a passionate and dedicated team that is bringing new cloud-based research solutions to market. What You Will Be Doing: · Helping us grow by bringing in the right type of leads · Define and continuously improve the company’s and product’s value proposition · Develop and execute communication plans to both prospects and current customers · Measure success and ROI of all marketing activities and focus efforts based on results · Oversee strategy and execution of digital marketing efforts including marketing automation, web, email, social, etc. · Manage outsourced agencies and firms to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery · Increase Company’s awareness as a brand in the Research market · Ensure events company attends are a logistical success and meet the goals of the event · Work closely with subject matter experts to develop and release relevant content · Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in B2B SaaS marketing, best practices and new technologies Requirements: · Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) · Minimum 2 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience with a track record of delivering quality leads · Experience with metrics driven demand generation and digital marketing · Deep understanding of Analytics, A/B testing, and data analysis · Experience with email marketing, marketing automation, and WordPress (or other CMS) is helpful · Experience within the Higher Education or Research Administration markets a plus · Solid work ethic and ability to work and think independently · Outstanding written and verbal communication skills · Well-developed interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Company Description Nationwide Retained Search Firm
