Job Description We are seeking a Senior MySQL Database And Systems Administrator to join our team! You will handle a variety of projects to support and improve the organization's database and production systems. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the MySQL database platform Troubleshoot database & system issues Monitor active database and server infrastructure Maintain day-to-day operations and documentation of critical 24x7 production systems. Respond to alerts and support calls after normal business work hours and on the weekends. Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment Administer job scheduling system to prevent system interruptions Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures Ensure appropriate storage and redundancy is maintained in overall infrastructure. Document all technical procedures and user guides ​ Qualifications: Five or more years previous experience as a database administrator Five or more years previous experience as a system administrator Strong technical expertise with Linux, database, virtualization and networking Ability to function effectively as an active member of a small technical team and to work independently as projects require Ability to prioritize and multitask Deadline and detail-oriented Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Company Description TRUSTID, a privately held, VC backed technology company based in Portland Oregon, is actively recruiting for a Senior Database and Systems Administrator. This hands-on technical position will report directly to the CTO and be part of a team that has a track record of successfully launching and growing technology companies. The successful candidate for this important position may be either retained through an IT staffing agency as a contract to hire or join as an employee depending on qualifications and experience.
