The Game Developer Products GDP team in Intel's Developer Products Division DPD is hiring for a senior engineer who can deliver core components as a senior technical contributor and can also provide technical leadership to a highly skilled and collaborative project team. We are actively looking to expand the team in Oregon by adding an experienced software developer with a skill base rooted in C++. The candidate will work to develop, maintain and validate core software components for the Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers GPA on a variety of Intel powered devices and operating systems. Suitable candidates should have a passion for developing and validating high quality code using industry proven techniques such as pair programming, test driven development and continuous integration. The ability to work directly with peers to design, write, review, and influence implementation and test code is necessary.
•7-10 years of C++ experience with hands-on experience writing Cross Platform Code
•Experience developing apps with at least 1 Graphics API preferably Vulkan or DirectX 12
•Depth of knowledge in the areas of 3D graphics techniques and the 3D graphics pipeline-
•Solid understanding of 3D graphics APIs such as DirectX, OpenGL, Metal, or Vulkan.
•Strong oral and written communication skills and clarity in technical communications
•Strong attention to detail when writing code, running tests and filing defects
•Self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead technical projects
•Exposure to the Metal Graphics API
•Experience developing GUIs for Tools
•Experience Developing 3D games / Games industry experience
•Experience with development on Mac OSX, writing in Objective C
•Experience shipping production software in a Scrum/Kanban Team- Multi-geo and cross-cultural communication experience
