Sr. PeopleSoft DeveloperThe Applications Developer III is the advanced-level classification in the series. Employees in this classification perform a variety of the most highly complex, professional duties in the analysis, design, development, testing, installation and maintenance of large scale, multifaceted, applications with overall responsibility for system development, upgrades, maintenance and production performance, serving as a technical expert and project lead on the use of advanced technologies, cross-platform/operating systems, systems integration and connectivity issues. The PeopleSoft ERP Developer has a high degree of knowledge in the PeopleSoft development field to perform a variety of professional, technical, and analytical duties involving the design, customization, development, issue resolution, testing, implementation, administration, security, and support of our PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 and HCM 9.2 for Education and Government Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications under general supervision. Including, but not limited to, Time & labor, Payroll, HR, Benefits Administration, TAM, Purchasing, Inventory, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Self Service.As a member of the PeopleSoft support team, the ERP developer will work with the business functional leads, systems administration group, and the service desk group to ensure error correction and resolution through the use of appropriate troubleshooting techniques, test procedures, communication and root cause analysis all in a timely fashion to meet business requirements and assigned timelines.The ERP developer must be able to serve as a technical consultant, advisor, and mentor to functional leads and other developers in regards to identification of current problems and additional requirements, system status, current system capabilities, limitations and uses.The ERP developer requires a broad high level understanding of the functions performed in the business areas of support that correspond to our PeopleSoft modules.Sr. PeopleSoft Developer QualificationsAt least three years technical support and development of PeopleSoft HCM and/or Financials version 9+ in a senior developer capacity.At least three years of business and programming experience using three-tier client server or web based environments using relational database management systems.Demonstrated Experience writing and troubleshooting with PeopleTools 8.5+: PeopleCode, PeopleCode Application packages, Application Engine, Application Designer.Query.SQR.SQL database, SQL.Possess strong analytical, problem solving, debugging skills and follow up documentation.
