Interested in creating change in your community? Helping to provide access to education and health care?

Sugary beverages are linked to serious health risks for children and adults alike, such as diabetes and heart disease. Research shows that a small tax on these beverages is the most effective way to reduce consumption.

The Healthy Kids and Education Campaign is hiring outreach staff to educate Multnomah County voters about an initiative that will provide a small tax on sugary beverages and generate an estimated $28 Million in revenue, which would be used as part of a comprehensive plan to improve health and education programs for low-income kids in Multnomah County, like expanded pre-school and nutrition programs.

Our staff are talking to hundreds of Multnomah County Voters about the Healthy Kids and Education Initiative. Our team is growing every day, and we are still hiring outreach staff and team leaders to educate the community. Outreach staff earn $15.00 per hour, and team leaders earn $17.00 an hour.
