Job Description:/h3:
The Court Sports Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support to the assigned areas within Court Sports and designated Youth Programs (camps, Family Fridays, and Tiny Tots), as well as supporting the Basketball, Handball, Racquetball and Volleyball sport committees. This includes, but is not limited to check requisitions, tracking committee budget accounts (including committee funds, special funds, developmental funds, interclub funds and hosted tournament account), monthly meetings and notices and minutes, member correspondence, coordination of events, workshops, registrations, billings, job requests, posters, merchandise orders, mailings/e:mail campaigns, and web page maintenance for the assigned programs. Assists in taking court reservations, class registrations, booking special events and calling members on the waiting list for classes, camps or courts. Qualifications: At least two years of administrative assistant work experience. Similar work experience in a private club preferred; computer proficiency including a working knowledge of computer applications including word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), calendar and contacts (Outlook), as well as the ability to learn new software programs. Ability to support web pages on the club website; demonstrated written and verbal communication, organizational, and member service skills; ability to establish and maintain a highly organized environment and produce project work while being responsive to members requests; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while dealing with frequent interruptions; and the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
