The Technical Computing Solutions GM will be responsible for coordinating the development, strategy, direction and execution of Technical Computing's high end HPC platforms/solutions roadmap and business plan. The includes Exaclass systems, high-end Rack Scale Design-HRSD for HPC technology and other high end systems currently in definition as custom projects. The high-end Solution GM will work in conjunction with DCG CTO's office, across multiple different groups both within and outside of Intel defining the platforms, the software stack, the interconnect and hardware platform . The Solutions GM is responsible for the overall success of the technology and product execution specifically for crafting, aligning and driving required execution plans across multiple business units and functional teams including CPU, boards/systems, SW/FW, SSD, Networking, acceleration ingredients while also covering validation, integration, security, regulatory, tools and industry and customer enabling aspects. As the key point of execution accountability for TCI's high end solutions platforms, this individual will lead a mostly matrixed team of senior technical and business contributors, thus requiring strong leadership skills as well as a solid understanding of technology, product and platform development processes. One of the key responsibilities of the solution GM is to develop and execute a plan to leverage Intel's investment in key technologies to extend the benefits of the high end solutions to the larger volume market opportunity.
