General Purpose 13;
Responsible for managing the day:to:day operation of the IT support services functions of change management, mobile device management, asset (configuration) management, and configuration management database ownership. Establish IT policy and provides input to the overall IT strategy while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies, procedures, and methodologies. Ensure both the IT application and infrastructure functions are supported in meeting the business needs, goals, and objectives.
:Manage the day:to:day operation of the IT support services functions of change management, mobile data management, asset and configuration management and configuration management database ownership. Develop necessary policies, procedures, and methodologies related to IT support services.
:Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines. Communicate with senior management on progress, possible deviations, or needed changes both verbally and in writing.
:Establish costing and allocation strategies for the IT services provided. Communicate with senior management and businesses supported to ensure that strategies are documented, understood, and are regularly reviewed and maintained. Define performance measurement criteria and reporting processes and provide input to strategic direction for shared IT services provided.
:Ensure IT hardware and software assets are tracked in compliance with regulatory, legal, and other requirements. Direct support staff to conduct asset audits and promptly investigate deviations.
:Manage all Company issued mobile devices and data in compliance with cyber security controls along with the associated budget and contracts with carriers
:Perform activities necessary for the effective management of the department, including employee safety, selection and development of employees, pay administration, employee counseling and motivation, organization goals and objectives, and planning, organizing, integrating, measuring, and reporting the work performed within the department.
:Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with hardware, software, and services vendors to ensure that the Companys systems are adequately supported and external influences on the Companys systems are understood and used in planning.
:Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. 13;
:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience. (Typically four years of additional related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a Bachelors Degree. A minimum of two years additional directly related technical experience is required.)
:Seven years combined experience in quality assurance and/or statistical process control practices, and asset management.
:A minimum of 3+ years of direct people management experience.
:Knowledge of information technology terms, equipment, systems, functions, and major vendors.
:Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
:Effective interpersonal skills and customer relationship skills.
:Effective analytical, problem:solving, and decision:making skills.
:Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. 13;
