PeaceHealth is seeking a
Provider Contract Coordinator : Provider Compensation (Part:Time) for a
0.5 full time equivalent

JOB SUMMARY
This position will serve as the primary liaison representing Provider Contracting and Provider Compensation to all PeaceHealth PHMG communities. Works directly with the PHMG Network VP's and Medical Group Leadership to negotiate and manage all PeaceHealth employed Provider contracts and contract revisions. Ensures all contract terms are consistent with the PeaceHealth Provider Compensation plan and PeaceHealth policies, and negotiates within the established legal and financial guidelines. This position will also work directly with the Providers as needed during both the recruiting process in conjunction with Provider Recruiting, and after employment with PeaceHealth to resolve any contract or compensation issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
:Serve as the authorized point of contact and subject matter expert for all negotiations of provider contracts, contract revisions and provider compensation contract:related questions. Reviews contract language, establishes standard contract language, and negotiates contract language issues with outside parties.
:Responsible for successful development and management of standardized and centralized contract administration, contract compliance and contract database management as related to Provider contracts.
:Collaborate with PHMG System Provider Compensation and System Legal to identify solutions for any non:standard elements of the Provider contract or Provider compensation. Ensure solutions are reviewed and approved through the proper authority and communicated back through the Network VP's in a timely manner.
:Responsible for on:going collaboration with System Legal to establish and maintain standard contract language and assure legal and regulatory compliance across all PeaceHealth PHMG communities.
:Prepare, analyze, summarize, and distribute reports and statistical data to support Provider Contracting. Prepare reports, contribute or manage contracting website, prepare contract summaries, PowerPoint presentations, and correspondence as requested by the PHMG leadership to support the contracting process.
:Responsible for maintenance of contract files and continuous improvement of the contract renewal cycle in order to meet the financial and operational efficiency goals of PeaceHealth. Responsible for the distribution of appropriate files and information to Risk Management, Provider Compensation and any other necessary departments.
:During the recruiting process, work directly with the assigned Recruiting Provider, the Provider candidate and PHMG leadership to ensure that the drafted contract is satisfactory to all parties and is successfully negotiated and finalized.

QUALIFICATIONS (required unless otherwise designated)
EDUCATION:
:Graduation from an accredited two/four year college or university in a related field is required.
:Completion of a formal paralegal program is highly desired.
:Any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job may be considered.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
:Minimum of three years in the legal and/or HR field to include two years minimum experience with physician compensation plans is required.
:Paralegal experience is highly desired.
:Direct experience in employment negotiation, contracting, and physician relations for a healthcare system required.
:Demonstrated knowledge of Oregon, Washington and Alaska employment law, immigration issues and application in the employment contracting process.
