General Purpose 13;
Administers health and welfare, paid time off programs and various personal leave programs.
Responsibilities 13;
:Administer various benefit group health plans for active and retirees, such as, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, wellness, health savings accounts, and spending accounts.
:Assist in the annual open enrollment process to include testing enrollment system and reviewing and/or preparing communications.
:Administer the company Wellness benefit program working with a third party vendor.
:Administer the Health Savings Account and Health Reimbursement accounts employee and employer contributions to include reconciliation process, data entry, maintaining spreadsheets.
:Facilitate benefits presentations for employees and/or retirees
:Act as liaison between employees and retirees and the various third party vendors regarding claim or eligibility issues.
:Assist in enhancing and testing our operating system for benefit administration.
:Process and maintain Qualified Medical Child Support Orders.
:Oversee the process of monthly billing with the accounts receivable third party vendor.
:Process the COBRA notifications with third party vendor.
:Process weekly COBRA notifications and reconcile monthly remittance
:Process active and/or complex death claims.
:Assist customers via the toll:free benefit line or general email box in regard to group health plans questions, claim issues, time off, personal leave and military leave.
:Assist in implementation of new programs, plans or policies.
:Identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures and review with appropriate management staff to implement improvements. 13;

:Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Management or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
:A minimum of three years human resources experience.
:Excellent customer service by phone, written or in person, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and resolve internal or external customer issues which may be sensitive in nature.
:Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds; ability to work as a member of a team.
:Capability of effective planning and priority setting. Ability to work on several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
:Computer proficient, technical aptitude with ability to use spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications.
:Knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, procedures and practices; applicable federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations to include ERISA, USERAA, COBRA and OBRA.
:Ability to develop alternatives, standards or practices within defined areas but for which are ambiguous or unprecedented. 13;

:PHR or SPHR Certification.
:SAP experience 13;
