Providence is calling a Director, Clinical Portfolio, Neuroscience Institute to Providence Health & Services in Portland, OR.

We are seeking a Director to provide guidance and leadership to the activities of the enterprise Clinical Performance Group (CPG) Neurosciences. This position is responsible for the development of enterprise wide strategic plans, oversees the work of the focus groups, assures CPG workflow across multiple divisions and regions, provides enterprise wide market and environmental assessment, and oversees project management from the business decision stage to final implementation across multiple regions. This role requires knowledge of patient care and experience working with clinicians, preferably in service line leadership. These responsibilities span the Providence Health & Services facilities throughout all regions.

In this position you will:

* Provide direction and support in the organization of the Clinical Performance Group and Institute as well as driving desired outcomes across the enterprise.

* Partner with Institute physician leadership council, and other executive partners to develop cost, utilization, technology/research goals and objectives for the performance group.

* Be responsible for the organization of clinical/operational focus groups and dyad leadership assigned to them. Direct the Program Manager's work priorities in support of this.

* Participate in the development of advanced reimbursement plans and products as needed.

* Effectively summarize data needs and work collaboratively with Healthcare Intelligence, Business Development, Marketing and other core leaders who support the clinical institutes.

* Create, track and report outcomes (dashboard) of the Performance Group.

* Be responsible for organization of the Neuroscience summit events and sub-events.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Bachelors' degree.

* Ten or more years of work experience in healthcare or a comparable background with significant clinical/project leadership experience. Preferably leading, organizing and managing clinical programs.

* Knowledge of project management, process improvement including CAP, Lean, Six Sigma.

* Knowledge and successful experience working with clinicians in Neuroscience. Can specifically relate to experiences in successful physician relationships.

* Experience working at the financial and clinical detail of neuroscience services to discern focus of improvement activity.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Master's degree or equivalent.
