We are growing We need to hire several Medical Assistants to meet our staffing needs.
The Vancouver Clinic is searching for Medical Assistant candidates to work in several different clinics st various Clark County locations. Candidates will have proven experience and demonstrable excellence in customer service. The ideal candidate will have an attitude of flexibility and teamwork to assist with back office duties while providing excellent patient care. We seek those who are compassionate and patient:care focused.
Job Duties:
Back:office Medical Assistant will maintain and enhance the health and well:being of the patient by participating in the team effort of the individual department by facilitating patient flow, assisting with procedures, telephone communication, and follow:up diagnostic procedures. At all times,
communicates with kindness and professionalism. Demonstrates an understanding of our clinic vision and consistently delivers patient:focused care.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Take vitals and document completely and accurately.
* Describe chief complaint accurately; gather pertinent health data per department expectations.
* Update patients chart; medications, allergies, health maintenance system at time patient is roomed.
* Discuss and enroll patients for MyChart patient messaging as applicable.
* Prepare patient and instrumentation appropriate to exam. Instruct patient on disrobing, if applicable.
* Prepare equipment, instruments and supplies in room for provider exam.
* Assist provider by chaperoning, as appropriate, and assisting with exams and minor procedures.
* Maintain patient flow. Have patient in the room within five (5) minutes of known vacancy.
* Evaluate needs of walk:in patients within 10 minutes of known arrival.
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Current Washington State Medical Assistant:Certified credential.
* Interim to active MA:Certified credential within six months of hire date.
* Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
* Prefer those with patient care experience.
* Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred.

The Vancouver Clinic requires the Washington State MA:Certified credential for our medical assistant positions.
