Client BIOS team is part of CCG and we mainly develop platform BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors. We work closely with Intel silicon design teams and are responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program. What you will do...As a senior BIOS developer, you will help develop features, advance feature requirement and debug issues reported by various validation and enabling teams on the daily basis. You will need to modify existing code to fix the issues or develop new BIOS flows. You will also work preparing BIOS specifications and reference code for external customers.


Qualifications

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 4+ years of relevant industry experience in System BIOS\Firmware development, OR a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related with 2+ years of relevant industry experience in System BIOS\Firmware development. Additional Qualifications: You should have at least 4 years' experience in one or more of the following: C coding skills and/or experience Software S/W architecture, design and debugging skills Technical knowledge in PnP, memory algorithms, Advanced Configuration and Power Interface ACPI, Extensible Firmware Interface EFI, and Advanced Configuration Power Interface ACPI Working knowledge in the software engineering development process, project life cycle, PC BIOS architecture, and PC operating systems
