Position Summary:
Work with VP Marketing to develop, manage and implement advertising support services necessary to facilitate the marketing and advertising strategies and sales promotion efforts for the Company. Manage quality standards, production schedule, and budget for projects. Role model and demonstrate the Companys core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of self and others.
Frequent independent judgments are essential. Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Essential Job Functions:
: Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
: Assist and support VP Jewelry Marketing
: Oversee Marketing Department and directly manage the Marketing Assistant and Marketing Coordinator positions
: Work with VP Marketing to develop annual marketing budget
: Manage expenses that hit marketing budget
: Partner with Creative Manager, Customer Relationship Marketing Manager and eCommerce teams to maintain seamless, consistent coordination between all advertising vehicles
: Verify availability of advertising information, timetables and budget information to facilitate completion of all work to meet agreed deadlines, budgets and quality criteria
: Develop and manage production schedules; prepare print specifications, create and monitor internal schedules
: Perform press checks
: Produce project recap for every print project
: Troubleshoot printing problems and address print quality issues
: Identify and evaluate new advertising vehicles and support services that improve efficiencies, quality standards, and lower costs for the Company
: Negotiate and buy cost effective print services, paper and logistics; Global Net Xchange (GNX) representative for Marketing
: Manage marketing fulfillment and shipping
: Manage coordination and execution of direct mail and maintain expertise on direct mail regulations and format
: Work with other jewelry departments and jewelry vendors on special print projects
: Perform business reviews with vendors managed
: Supervise the placement of print media
: Work with Fred Meyer Sales Promotion team to manage and coordinate newspaper inserts
: Maintain awareness and evaluate effectiveness of current print advertising and trends
:Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
: Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation Minimum Position Qualifications:
: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus 2 years experience in graphic arts or commercial printing; or combination of relevant education and experience.
: Minimum 18 years of age
: Ability to pass drug test
: Ability to work in a fast:paced environment
: Ability to work weekends on an occasional basis
: Ability to work overtime as need
: Ability to travel independently on a regular basis
: Maintain confidentiality
: Accuracy/attention to detail
: Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects
: Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines
: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
: Valid drivers license Desired Previous Job Experience:
: Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
: 7,000 SPH ten:key by touch/sight
: 60 WPM typing
: Proficiency with Apple Macintosh computers
