Elephants Delicatessen offers a fun, lively sensory food experience. Think a New York style high-end delicatessen, but with fresh, local foods from scratch. We are a well-loved neighborhood family restaurant in the John's Landing neighborhood with a big wine crowd. We offer an amazing selection of quality wines at all price points, as well as wood-fired pizza, hot sandwiches, salads, brunch, and more.

We seek a calm and cool self-starter with a passion for beverages: Stumptown espresso, cocktails, beer, and wine. It also helps if you have some good knowledge of sports, food pairings, movies, etc. because our regulars love to chat!

You should be very organized and able to take charge. You’ll be responsible to make sure the other 2 bartenders are supported with everything that they need in order to make sure our customers have the best experience.

There is also potential for you to move into a larger management position and grow your career with this growing, local company.

• Up-selling food and beverages- pairing excellent flavor combos; taking bar customers food orders
• Working with other bar/baristas to order routine products- liquor, dairy, wine, beer, and citrus/garnish
• Daily OLCC logging
