The HR Generalist is responsible for assisting with the planning and delivering of customized HR services within their assigned client space/locations. As a trusted advisor, provides HR counsel across all related functional areas for employees and managers in the achievement of business goals and objectives. Influences the engagement and culture within assigned space.
:Builds trusted relationships with clients to provide support in improving critical business outcomes
:Builds trusted relationships with clients to provide support
:Consults with managers and associates on issues including performance, terminations, and compliance with all federal and state laws
:Facilitates action planning in support of Associate Engagement Survey results across assigned client group(s)
:Assists with communication and basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures. Implements established HR strategy for assigned locations
:Provides HR support and guidance to our employees and managers on basic employee relations and problem solving requiring some decision making skills and expert judgement that contribute to a high performance culture
:Interprets CDK policy and partners with management to communicate HR policies and procedures
:Recommends practices to establish a positive workplace environment. Partners with Corporate HR legal and/or appropriate HR Director to make decisions
:Assists with talent assessments (skills assessments, 360s, Calibrations) Supports and facilitates utilization of myCareer.
:Training: Delivers a consistent onboarding experience
:Supports engagement programs collaborating with the business
:s, BRG's and COE's
:May facilitate training for associates and managers
:Helps with CDK compensation processes including but not limited to annual merit and bonus programs
:May participate in projects to recruit and select the best talent.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
:Bachelors degree or equivalent required
:2+ years professional experience within a human resources capacity preferably within the financial/technology/software industries : in a matrix, global environment
:Must have employee relations experience, decision making capability and working knowledge of employment laws and practices
:Basic Facilitation skills
:Customer focused with a high level of credibility and collaboration. Ability to influence without authority is required.
:Talent and social branding skills
:Ability to review business data and identify problems and solutions
:Resilience to work independently and proactively within a complex organization
