POSITION SUMMARY
Provides HR support and guidance to our employees and managers on employee relations and problem solving requiring decision making skills and solid judgement that contribute to a high performance culture. Supports and drives our engagement and recognition initiatives. Creates an onboarding experience that solidifies the decision to join CDK, allows for seamless understanding and enrollment in benefits. Supports our annual processes, such as benefits enrollment, my Review and Rewards assistance etc.

:Coaches and consults with employees and managers on non:call center supported items, providing recommendations on day to day problems and issues, escalating complex HR issues. This includes LOA, workers comp, exit interviews, employee relations.
:Partners with management to communicate HR policies, procedures. Recommends practices to establish a positive workplace environment.
:Advises managers in the progressive discipline policy. Review, guides and may recommend employee terminations. Conducts investigations with support.
:Partners and provide support to the HR COEs including annual processes.
:May develop and drive employee engagement programs collaborating with the business, the BRGs and COEs.
:Develops and delivers a consistent onboarding experience in collaboration with other COEs
:Conducts exit interviews and shares data
:Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
:May mentor less experienced team members

REQUIREMENTS
:A minimum of 4 years of knowledge and experience in employee relations, employee engagement, and employee development
:Better than average written and spoken communication skills
:Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
:Ability to mentor other team members
:Ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the management team
:Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Excel and skills in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
:General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and experience working with a corporate employment law attorney
:Experience with recognition and engagement programs and processes
:Evidence of the ability to practice and coach managers with a high level of confidentiality
:Excellent organizational, decision making and proactive skill set
