Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking to hire a Regional Sales Manager For The Northwestern Territory to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales team to drive company revenue.LOCATION: The person should be located on the West Coast (Bay Area SF, Portland, Seattle)TITLE: Area Sales Manager for the Northwestern territory of the USA (including upper California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada).START TIME : Now Your main responsibilities will be: Sales, marketing & technical service responsibility in assigned geographical marketsPlace new products into the marketAchieve sales, marketing and technical service goals assigned for the sales territoryPromote sales to the existing and target OEM client base, identify new prospects and find new customers in select market areasSupport the implementation of strategic goals and provide commercial and operational feedback based on customer interfacesContribute to the planning & organization of marketing and sales activities of the company in the assigned territoryContribute to the optimization of inventory & inventory turnsCoordinate & participate in all trade shows as assignedProvide appropriate market information, covering all major competitorsProvide operational & commercial feedback based on customer interfaceProvide monthly & weekly reports with comments on sales activities in the manner requestedPresent quarterly & annual customer sales budgets, covering all area of the company as requiredJob Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sales Engineer/ Area Sales ManagerBachelors degree in Business Administration (or foreign equivalent) and mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or at least a good technical and mechanical backgroundFull understanding of industry practices and company policies and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills with an ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks as well as interacting with internal and external personnel and customersProblem solving skills and good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutionsOrganizational skills Some of our benefits are:Medical insurance401(k)Company carOffice and all office equipmentPaid Time Off (PTO) Days totaling 15 per calendar year, Holidays normally totaling 10 per calendar year Company DescriptionVGP attracts high-performance talent by taking the time to understand your skills, motivation, and goals so we can place you with a great company in a job where you'll be successful.
