As a Discipline Lead in the Corporate Services Construction group, you will be responsible for developing Discipline Scope and Engineering Solutions for construction projects.
You will be interfacing and coordinating with contract design, construction, and estimating resources, as well as internal Intel organizations including customer staff, LFTD, PTD, facility owners, and Site Project PMs and Discipline Leads, to enable facility design efforts for your systems/discipline of expertise.
Efforts will include definition of design criteria, scope definition and justification, development of design concepts, completion of positioning, programming and detailed design, and development of project budgets, schedules, and safety requirements.
You must have proficiency with reading and interpreting construction contract documents. In this role, you will manage performance of the Architectural and Engineering / Owners Design Consultant vendor in your discipline of expertise.
A Senior Discipline Lead is also able to lead inter-discipline coordination efforts, and collaborate closely with other disciplines to ensure delivery of a complete, approved, coordinated scope across a project.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. A Bachelor of Science degree requires an additional 10+ years of experience in a construction Discipline Lead/Project Engineering or similar role. A Master of Science degree requires an additional 5+ years of experience in a construction Discipline Lead/Project Engineering or similar role. Experience with design and sizing methods for process waste systems (AWN, CCW, HFW, SCW), or for process gas and chemical distribution and treatment systems, or for Ultra-Pure water/RO/DI systems. This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position. Preferred qualifications: Combined experience with design and sizing methods for process waste, process gas, chemical distribution/treatment systems, and Ultra-Pure water/RO/DI systems. Effective with reading and interpreting construction contract documents Ability to work effectively within a variety of management levels, between the customer Intel and the contractors, as well as outside clients and vendors Effective at problem-solving, including problem-solving methodologies, research strategies, logical reasoning, critical analysis of information and cooperative learning BIM experience is also a plus. An understanding of utility modeling software and applications, and generation of utility models is a plus. Professional registration is a plus.
