We are looking for an experienced Project Executive to join our Portland team. A Lewis Project Executive is a leader and strategist of a market segment. The scope of this work will include business development and sales, as well as, responsibility for the overall direction, completion and financial outcomes of assigned projects. In this role, you will work closely with our executive leadership to negotiate contract terms. As Project Executive, you will be responsible to provide technical and staff leadership for commercial construction projects. As a member of our senior leadership team, you will contribute to the overall management of the Portland operation including company strategy planning and initiatives while owning the responsibility that projects under your purview are successfully completed safely, on schedule and on budget. As a member of the leadership team, you would be a thought leader in your market segment, providing industry expertise, representing Lewis at community and company sponsored events in alignment with LewisA cents € (TM) strategy and goals. As a market segment leader, you will develop strategic, long-range plans to achieve segment objectives, while working to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded. You will develop and execute business development strategies for obtaining new projects by identifying potential leads in the public and/or private segment. You will utilize your leadership skills to recruit, develop, mentor, and retain skilled management and technical staff. Fostering a team environment is a learned skill as well as leading and motivating diverse teams to high levels of performance. You will be a leader in promoting and ensuring team compliance with all company and industry safety policies and procedures. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to identify, evaluate, and develop cost-effective resolutions to potential construction risks and/or design deficiencies. As the qualified candidate, you will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction management overseeing multiple multimillion dollar projects. You will possess a BachelorA cents € (TM) s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field. You will also have demonstrated proficiency and expertise in the following areas: construction management, budget development and control, persuasive presentations, estimating, team-building, preconstruction costing, as well as the BIM process and field personnel management. A working knowledge of BIM and project management software is essential to the success of this position.
